About Boughton Walden
Boughton Walden is an artist and designer based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Her style can best be described as modern contemporary with a pixelated twist, an influence stemming from her work in graphic design. Her work favors modern portraiture consisting of the human form as well as her passion for wild animals and a love for the West, and documenting her travels around the world. Use of negative space and vibrant colors is done specifically to emphasize the subject matter. Her medium is mainly acrylic, but a large part of her portfolio is oil and mixed media, mainly portrayed on a wooden canvas. Boughton studied Studio Art and Graphic Design at the University of Alabama, and has since been featured in a number of exhibits and galleries...
